Series 2 · Is Your Website an Inviting Front Door, or a Bulletin Board? · Part 6 of 6
Step back from the details, and both of these series come down to the same thing: helping people build real relationships with your church, one experience at a time.
For someone new, that relationship may begin with a search result, a social post or your website. They’re trying to understand who you are and whether there might be a place for them.
Then comes the visit: finding the parking lot, walking through the doors, checking in the kids and meeting someone who makes them feel welcome. A thoughtful gift and a personal follow-up can help that first connection continue after Sunday.
Over time, the next step might be a Growth Track, Discovery or new members class. It could be a small group, a young adults gathering or a men’s or women’s event. Eventually, someone who once needed help finding the entrance may be the person welcoming others or serving on a team.
People don’t all follow the same path or move at the same pace. But each step should feel connected to the church they first encountered online.
That takes coordination. Your website, communications, welcome team and ministry leaders are all contributing to the same experience. When they work from a shared message and a clear plan, people have fewer gaps to navigate on their own.
That’s the work True Engagement Promotions was built to help churches do: connect the digital and physical parts of the journey, from an initial introduction to a lasting place in the community.
Engage. Tell. Compel. One church, one story, every touchpoint.
Up next: Series 3 looks at what happens when your message leaves the building—on shirts, signs and gifts carried into the community.
